Project E.A.T. (Educate, Act, Thrive) seeks a motivated and independent person as a Project Specialist.

Project E.A.T. Job Responsibilities: Duties include the general management and implementation of a federally funded, garden-based nutrition education and physical activity promotion program at the high school level. The Project Specialist will manage all aspects of on-site curriculum modification and implementation to build teacher capacity for the promotion of fruit and vegetable consumption and increased physical activity. The Project Specialist will also manage all components of an after-school, garden and nutrition based youth development program. Responsibilities include supporting the school site to maintain and benefit from a 1-acre, food production garden and outdoor classroom. Qualified candidates will have 3 years of increasing experience in youth development, food production and project management.
Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field; three years related experience with increasing supervisory responsibility, including direct experience in providing professional support services to public school programs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
